1. Stress, shame and trauma, from childhood and early on, alongside harsh, rigid family, religious and cultural influences which are based on shame – culminate in a PTSD response which “burns out” a growing, wonderful human beings brain and Mind that has been unable to cope with the insanity of this current world.
2. There are many who are delusional, drug-induced, or “drama queens” that act out in foolishness, perpetuating their own mental health challenges and label, not having or wanting to develop mindfulness and cultivating the “witness” within Mind, which western culture at the moment is catering to and merely labels, medicates, distracts through TV, media, and influence also by poor health and nutrition. Like the “heyoka” or trickster in Native legend, these human beings enjoy playing the part of insanity, being foolish, attention seekers ~ and unfortunately due to the prosperous and politically correct lifestyle of western culture and the medical establishment along with greater agenda`s unseen worldwide, these human beings draw on others emotions and empathy like a parasite, never fully “waking up”.
3. Spiritual gifts… There are many, many people with the label “schizophrenia” which I have met who are strongly connected with other levels, information, Spirit. Due to whatever circumstances that have brought about visions, intuition, thoughts, voices and connection to things in dream time that most do not remember or go to, in this current empirically based western culture these people are not welcomed, loved, supported and guided by strong Spiritual Mentors or Shamans as some cultures call them. I have met many “schizophrenics” who are so deeply intuitive, able to see things and Spirit that is not visible to our physical eye, able to channel information, pictures, thoughts, remote viewing, clairvoyant connection with others and ability to go into deeper realms or dimensions. Just like children I have connected with that are labelled “autistic” and have told me they remember things from before they were born, many with Schizophrenic delusions are those who have opened up or been opened up to greater things and due to the loveless, clinical and greedy world we currently live in have not been able to harness, master and develop those abilities. Big reason for this is that there are so few Mentors and honest, true Healers, Teachers, Mentors, Shamans. Many times these “labelled” people can do great work in this world spiritually, and have come here in this lifetime for a special reason.
A few of the Mentors that I have followed in regards to this are:
Dr Gabor Maté
Dr R. D. Laing
Dr Abram Hoffer
Dr Marsha M. Linehan (Official)
Having researched and studied these men, their methods, their books and their ways of treating “mental illness” for many years, these few are some of the most powerfully potent, mainstream and true Mentors in regards to western clinical approaches for schizophrenia. R. D. Laing is especially potent because during his time he spoke up about the truth, that the cultural and family influences surrounding these “labelled” individuals were perpetuating this insanity.
There are stories of those few who breaking “out of Mind”, find and go on Shamanic journeys with gifted and strong, compassionate and wise Mentors/Healers/Dr`s – who cultivate the schizophrenic connection with things “greater than self” and “greater than what is seen” , harnessing and mastering these gifts over time, having being supported by loving people grow into powerful Healers themselves. That I believe is the way it is supposed to be. Saying that, there are many, many Dr`s and Healers, Shamans and Psychics in this world but few, so very few strong, wise, compassionate and authentic Elders in this regards.
Schizophrenia has pre-cursors of many variables including genetic disposition. However… the way the world is at this present moment in regards to GMO and processed foods, stress and greed agenda`s, psychopathic powers in control and authority, religious fundamentalism, rigid SHAME-BASED families, beliefs and communities, this “nurture vs nature” greatly exacerbates mental illness problems.
It takes a village to raise a child and love, not shame, blame and abuse. Love is lacking in so many cases, the true love of parents, community, Elders, peers, healthy lifestyle with deep connection to nature, what we eat, and a harmonious cultural environment. This is the problem, not the human being who is labelled “schizophrenic” in this world of wars, religion, prescription medications, us versus them attitudes, scarcity beliefs, black magic through personal resentments, hatred, disharmony, agenda`s for greed and wealth and lack of empathy or connection with others.
